Manantial Neighbourhood Services Inc. assists women who are unable to access community resources due to lack of knowledge and/or language barriers. Manantial provides women victims of domestic or other violence with emotional support and crisis intervention services. This includes providing referrals to appropriate community resources, such as support groups and shelter housing. Manantial is also involved in trying to break the cycle of dependency by encouraging women victims of violence (especially single parents) to become economically self-reliant.
